5 NYE Outfit Ideas 2015

Hello everyone! I hope you've had a great Christmas. Now the big day is finally over our style heads turn towards NYE which is fastly approaching. Here I have devised 5 outfits that I hope can provide some inspiration for you. I love certain looks (basically anything with a heel) - so, by doing this you can add, change and take away anything you like to make it your own and add your personal flair.
As much as we like to think we can venture out of our comfort zone, I know most of us do prefer neutrals, therefore my outfit ideas revolve heavily around them. As I said feel free to change parts then, add a splash of yellow if you want, or a deep blue lip - the world is your oyster!
I hope wherever you go this NYE, you're safe and enjoy yourself. Bring on 2016!

Christmas Visit to London

Sorry that I've been AWOL for a while. Had so much going on at school, and now it's Christmas I just want time to relax. I visited London on Monday and as per usual, I documented my day through photos. Although it's not entirely fashion related I thought I'd share my day out to get even more in the Christmas spirit. Hope everyone is well!

Moschino Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear

It's unbelievable to think that in under a month we will be entering 2016 - it's crazy! When someone says "5 years ago" I think 0f 2005 not 2010! Regardless of this, upcoming designs for Spring Ready-To-Wear are out, and Moschino was one which particularly caught my eye (of course).
The usual quirkiness of Moschino shone through in pieces which some may describe as questionable. Considering that this is a Ready-To-Wear collection it definitely stirs the imagination as to how someone could possibly wear some of the designs. But, that's the fun of it. Moschino always thinks outside the box and puts the "fun" back into an industry which can be seen as too serious.
My personal favourites have to be the designs with "CAUTION" tape around them. I love the use of everyday items in Moschino pieces. It adds an element of surprise for each collection as to what they're going to use next: barbies, bears, loony tunes and now police tape!

My Style: Get The Label

etailPR

I received a sample from "Get the Label" an amazing company which offers a range of well known high-street and designer clothes with up to 75% off the RRP price!
I was sent this gorgeous Lipsy dress (which may I add, is perfect for the upcoming party season, or any formal events). It's well made and extremely comfortable. There is a silk lining underneath the skirt and the appliqué design is amazing. It's such a simple dress but both elegant and beautiful in it's own right.
Get the Label is a great way to browse different designers without having to trawl through the internet for hours on end. In addition to this, the fact that they offer a substantial amount off the original price is an added bonus.
Some of the brands Get the Label sells includes:
- Adidas
- Nike
- Lipsy
- Timberland
- AX Paris
With the holiday season coming up, everyone can be a bit tight for money, so why pay the original price for something when you can get say, 50% off? It's a no-brainer if you ask me. Although, regardless of the brand label, there are actually great fashion pieces on there. I'm not one for my clothes to all be about the brand or price, I'd rather have something that looks good that isn't designer. So, for a website to offer both it's killing two birds with one stone.
My top 3 favourite bargains include:
Overall, Get the Label is such a great concept for a website. It makes browsing easier and less time consuming as well as cost effective. I highly recommend visiting the site.

Balenciaga Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear

See the rest of the collection here.

Okay, so we know that the fashion world is always one season ahead. But when I saw that "Spring" collections had released I couldn't believe it! This year has gone so quickly. Balenciaga has some of my favourite bag designs, so I was intrigued to see their clothing collection. I must say I was taken aback when I saw these designs. They are VERY different and offer something I haven't really seen before.
The fabric throughout the collection is beautiful. I love the incorporation of silk in the designs - it has a very "lingerie" feel to it. The various shades of ivory are stunning. It's great to see something so simplistic in an industry aimed at being bold and lively.
Nicole Phelps "Alexander Wang’s three-year stint at Balenciaga is over. He went out dancing, snapping selfies and twirling down the runway. His swan song was the freest of any of the collections he did for the house, and the most tender. All in shades of ivory. All paraded softly out on lace slippers. All in soft, natural fabrics like linen, cotton, and voile with gentle, furling edges. It looked effortless, where the ones that preceded it felt effortful. "
I love the way the fabric falls on the models. The chunky sheer lace compliments the pieces well, adding to the underwear feel which I stated earlier. As a "Ready-to-Wear" collection, I wonder how each of these pieces would be styled. Although, I'm sure that there's someone out there bold enough to take on the designs.
