Bottega Veneta Resort 2017

Sorry for not posting as regularly for the time being. Exam season is in full swing and as much as I wish I could post twice a week, my exams take priority for the time being!
Regardless of that, I couldn't help but see what's new within the fashion world. I saw that Botteega Veneta have released their new Resort 2017 collection, so I decided to have a browse.
Bottega Veneta isn't a brand I often talk about over hear on my blog, but after seeing this amazing collection I think I'll feature them a bit more.
I love the structural details on these pieces. They are very streamline, official yet also elegant at the same time. I love the variety of colour include and the fact they're not so vibrant. making the items more wearable.
The collection is very spring time appropriate. The clothing is different and interesting but also holds a simplistic value which yet again, makes the collection overall a very wearable one.

Chanel Resort 2017 Collection

For those who do not know, a resort collection is a holiday or travel collection that is pre-season . As usual, I took a brief look at style.com and found that Chanel's Resort 2017 pictures had been released. To my (un)surprise my eyes were met with a mix n' match of black, white and grey - true, classic Chanel style. As the collection progresses we see other muted colours come into play, yet still nothing overly bright.
The true French elements shone through and those classic Chanel silhouettes were current throughout. I love the use of formal wear such as ties and trousers (with a twist).
As you can probably tell, this collection was also full of different textures and materials - a smart move considering the lack of colour. I find texture a great way to add to simple outfit, just like in this collection.
