Autumn 2016 Trends You Should Expect

1. The One Shoulder

A one shoulder bodysuit is a simplistic way to be on trend this Autumn. Kind of like the bardot craze that has taken off this summer it shows being sexy can be both tasteful and classy. This is a trend that can also be incorporated into evening wear and daytime looks making it extremely versatile and giving you room to experiment!

2. Statement Chokers

Another hit from a 90's favourites. Return of the choker, but this time they're bigger and better than ever. These chokers can be the fantastic talking point of your outfit. The bigger the better, add embellishment or even custom make your own. Beads, pearls, diamantes and more.

3. Pink and Yellow

It's quite unusual to see bright colours for autumn time but this trend is refreshing. If you struggle with colour maybe add a pop to your outfit with shoes, bag or jacket. However, if you are scared by this bold trend maybe go for a rusted red and mustard yellow combo to ease yourself into it!

4. Pinstripe Details

Another season , another pattern trend. This pattern can help you look sophisticated and well put together. It's great on skirts and suits as demonstrated above. TIP: Vertical stripes slim your body and horizontal stripes widen your body.

5. Tinsel

Okay, so it's not literally tinsel, BUT it does include anything that could possibly attract a magpie. Reflective golds and silvers as well as sparkly ruffles and bows. I've seen many skirts around with this trend so maybe that's the safest way to start. This isn't for the faint hearted but can look amazing if you get it right.

6. Renaissance Inspiration

Who would have though Tudor style was coming back into fashion? Jk, but bell sleeves, corsets and the makeup to match echoes that of eras past. Velvet is a popular material for this style (which is also another trend) so look out for something old looking - it's actually pretty stylish right now!

My Style: Modern Maxi | Why I Love a Bargain

It's no secret that the entirety of the female species do love a bargain. Whether it be buy one get one free or up to 70% off, we love saving money. But sometimes it isn't just what you can get off an item but what you can buy for cheap in the first place.
Take this dress for example. I was browsing Primark's summer collection - as you do - when I came across this maxi. I've never owned a maxi dress before but I loved the pattern, the fall and the belt so I decided to get it for my holiday. £13 was the price, and for the quality I thought it was a steal. Once I got to the checkout - FIVE POUNDS! Oh yes. I felt like I'd won.
That's the thing though, you never know what hidden gems you can find within shops these days. I often opt for clothes that are in the £20-£40 price range as I know they will be good quality and last longer. However, I've recently learnt that some cheaper or less expensive items can be just as good, if not better! They are ideal for "padding out your wardrobe" as my mum says.
I've decided that I'm going to be more adventurous with the places I shop with and hopefully try to find myself some bargains.
Comment or tweet me some of your amazing bargains you've been lucky enough to find - I'd love to know!

My Style: Grecian Inspiration | Changes

I'm writing this blog post on the patio of the villa my family and I are staying at for two weeks in Orlando. Despite being so far from home and reality I don't think I've ever thought about the future so much. In eight days time I get my GCSE results, in twenty-two days I begin my life as a sixth form student, faced with all the trying times of A-Levels.

As some of you may or may not know I recently started a Youtube channel - vlogs whilst I'm on holiday and regular beauty and fashion videos once I get home. I've had my blog for almost three years now and have never had an ounce of negativity thrown my way. But since starting my Youtube just over a week ago I've already received negative and just plain nasty remarks. I always knew that Youtube would test my strength of character but never this early on.
Everything that is currently happening in my personal life has got me thinking. I am not in control of what my GCSE results are. I did my best and whatever happens I can't change it. I can't change the fact that I need to go to sixth form to achieve what I want in life. And I can't change the fact that no matter what aspect of life whether it be on social media or IRL, there will always be people who want to pull you down and lower your spirit - even if you don't know them personally.
Being so far away from home has really given me chance to reflect. I make videos because I enjoy doing it. I blog because it's my passion. I've always lived by the philosophy that if it makes you happy and you're not hurting anyone else then continue with what you're doing.
I suppose that the message of this blog is that although changes might be occurring in your life, try to make the best of them. Find something that makes you happy and stick with it no matter what anyone else says. I don't care whether 1 or 100,000 people watch or read my blog and my Youtube channel, I do it because I love it.
Good luck to those getting their results and entering the next chapter of their life ;)

My Style: Floral Vibes

Hello everyone, sorry that I haven't posted in awhile, I've been on holiday and haven't had any time to get some good quality content. This is an outfit I wore before going out to dinner with my family. A pretty basic choice but I find that the flowers on the shorts give an extra flare.
I have recently started my own Youtube channel. I've been doing daily vlogs  whilst I've been away but I will also be doing lookbooks, hauls, reviews and beauty/fashion related videos. To visit my channel, click here. Please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe on both my blog and Youtube, it would me so much to me!
I hope you're all well :)
